Islamic State Murders 10 Christian Hostages In Africa To ‘Avenge’ Baghdadi

The Islamic State West African Province (ISWAP) released a video on Tuesday purportedly showing the execution of eleven hostages, ten Christians plus one Muslim. The group said the murders were in retaliation for the deaths of ISIS leaders Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi and Abu al-Hassan al-Muhajir.

ISWAP said two additional Muslim hostages were spared from execution. The full group of 13 hostages appeared in a video released on December 17 in which they asked the Christian Association of Nigeria to negotiate with the Islamic State group to secure their release.

Within a few hours of the publication of the ISWAP execution video, Islamic State affiliate Boko Haram attacked a predominantly Christian village in Nigeria, killed seven people, and abducted a teenage girl.

35 Psychologists Resign from UK Gender Identity Clinic, Citing Concerns over Skyrocketing Diagnoses Of Gender Dysphoria

Thirty-five psychologists have resigned from the United Kingdom’s gender identity clinics in the last three years with many expressing concern that children are being  “over-diagnosed” as gender dysphoric and “overmedicalized” with treatments like puberty blockers, according to a report by Sky News.

They have left at a time when the number of children being treated for gender dysphoria, a condition where the child thinks he or she should be the opposite sex, has skyrocketed from 77 cases a decade ago to nearly 2600 cases this year. The UK National Health Service’s (NHS) Gender Identity Development Service (GIDS) reports a waiting list of nearly 3000, queuing up for as long as two years to get an appointment with a doctor.

Six former GIDS staffers charge that too many children have been put on puberty-blocking drugs when they should not have been given the diagnosis of being gender dysphoric in the first place.

Burst of Christmas earthquakes near Vancouver Island raise fears of the Big One

The day before Christmas Eve, a cluster of earthquakes was underway about five kilometres below the seafloor, one every couple of hours

The day before Christmas Eve was seismically unusual in the waters off Vancouver Island, alarmingly so to the layperson, trained to expect the worst. A cluster of earthquakes was underway about five kilometers below the seafloor, one every couple of hours.

The potential consequences of these things are still fresh in the mind. Exactly 15 years ago, on Dec. 26, 2004, an earthquake off the coast of Indonesia triggered a tsunami that killed nearly a quarter of a million people.

379,418 Pro-Lifers Sign Petition to Ban Dismemberment Abortion in Michigan

A Michigan pro-life coalition submitted more than 350,000 signatures on Dec. 23 to a government entity in hopes that the signatures would lead to the banning of late-term abortion procedures that involve the dismemberment of unborn babies.

If the signature drive is successful, then the Republican-controlled House and Senate must consider a bill that would ban a procedure the bill calls “dismemberment abortion” but is known as dilation and evacuation (D&E) among abortion doctors. Significantly, the bill would not be subject to a veto by Democratic Gov. Gretchen Whitmer. Under the Michigan Constitution, citizens can submit bills to the legislature that don’t require approval by the governor.

The bill defines dismemberment abortion as an abortion in which the doctor uses an instrument to “dismember a living fetus by disarticulating limbs or decapitating the head from the fetal torso.” In plain language, it involves the dilation of the cervix and the removal of the unborn baby by pulling it apart – removing an arm, a leg, the head, and so forth.

Night of horror: Suspect arrested after stabbing five with a machete in another anti-Semitic attack in NY

Rising anti-Semitic activity in the New York area.

At least five people were stabbed during a Chanukah celebration at a rabbi’s home in upstate New York on Saturday night. All of the stabbing victims, who were reported to be Orthodox Jews, were transferred to a nearby hospital.

This is the second anti-Semitic attack in Monsey, a town with about 18,000 residents, in under a month, according to Fox News. In November, a 30-year-old man was beaten and stabbed on his way to morning prayers.

“The political leadership in New York isn’t doing nearly enough to protect its Jewish citizens,” the RJC wrote on Twitter. “This has become a daily occurrence in NY. These attacks might not be a convenient talking point for those on the left, but they still need to speak out.”
